Kitchen on the Street exists to turn hunger into hope… one child at a time. As a volunteer driven agency, we accomplish this mission through partnerships with local Valley schools, providing child-friendly meals to children who would otherwise go without. The meals provide nutrition for the body and food for the soul!

Operation Homefront of AZ

Operation Homefront provides direct services to alleviate a military family’s or individual’s actual/complete emergency financial burden, as well as counseling and/or recovery support. Emergency financial assistance is in the form of checks paid directly to mortgage lenders, auto mechanics, contractors, hospitals, doctors, dentists and other providers.

We stand ready to assist children in need - the survivors of abuse or neglect and those suffering through illness. Our crusade is to raise awareness in our local community to recognize the needs of these little ones; every child deserves to have a voice.

The Foundation for Blind Children

The purpose of The Foundation for Blind Children is to create opportunity for anyone with vision loss to achieve. With three Valley locations (East Valley, West Valley and Central Phoenix), we strive to serve as "the" community's resource for blind, visually-impaired, and multi-handicapped children, adults, and their families.

Our state-of-the-art facility features 248 beds, specially trained nurses and doctors and family-centered care. Our highly skilled and compassionate staff assures parents that their children are receiving the best possible care.

The Salvation Army Southwest Divisional Headquarters is located in Phoenix, Arizona. Local units and centers in Arizona, New Mexico, El Paso, Texas, and Las Vegas, Nevada serve more than 3-million families and individuals each year.
